- My client is a group of companies involved in property, property e-commerce, property finance and securitization. The group has six operating companies.
- My client is the UK's leading housing intelligence business.
- My client has proven track record of working with clients to deliver innovative, on-line products which provide unique information to inform enhanced decision making and improved risk analysis across a range of markets. Their success is based on strong business insight, market leading technology and unique data. They have two principle business areas: Lending Solutions and Housing Intelligence.
Due to recent company acquisition in Sydney, my client is now looking to appoint an Analyst on a permanent basis working in conjunction with development teams in the UK office.
Role:
- Liaison with model development & technology teams in UK and Australia
- Detailed assessment and analysis of existing and new data sources
- Interpretation and reporting of model performance to management and system users
- Bespoke client testing, analysis and reporting
- Compilation of high quality quantitative reports for clients, rating agencies and other financial institutions
Requirements:
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (postgraduate degrees preferred, but not required)
- At least 3 years relevant analytics experience
- Experience in research, quantitative methods or mathematical modelling
- Must be data literate with strong skills in tools such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, Excel or Access
- Proven ability to analyze large sets of data, identify trends, highlight issues and maintain integrity
- Highly numerate with ability to produce applied solutions
- Previous experience in reporting, risk, marketing/CRM or performance analytics would be very useful
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
